To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stanley Spencer gallery in Cookham
I exhibited a set of paintings that took their inspiration from Spencer's portraits and local views or pot boilers as he called them. In this double portrait of Linda and Timmy Mallett I took a painting entitled Mr and Mrs Baggett and turned it on its head.
