Not the sea side but a tributary of the Thames at Odney. I spotted these youngsters fishing for sticklebacks under the bridge. I lived by the river for 20 years and in that time tried to find things to paint that were not just the standard views you might expect although i was often asked to do so for a commission. I think his painting was the beginning of my reflections series which follow along from this.
